In most forms of poker, before the cards are dealt there are 2 mandatory bets called blinds made by the players to the left of the dealer. Once everyone has their 2 hole cards they check for blackjack and betting begins. If a player wants to stay with their hand and believe it has a high value they say stay, or if they want to double up they say hit me.<\/p>\n
After the first round of betting is complete the dealer deals three more cards face up on the table. These are community cards that anyone can use. This is known as the flop.<\/p>\n
